A Partial List of Contracts for the 2008 Construction Season

• John P. Murtha Cambria County Airport Runway 5-23 Rehabilitaion

Reconstruction of runway 5-23 including milling, recycling the existing asphlalt base and resurfacing the runway in accordance with FAA and PA DOT aviation specifications.  This project includes pavement grooving and re-striping.

 

• PA DOT Prime Contracts

SR 286 Stonebraker Hill

Installation of new box culvert, minor drainage and patching, base repair and overlay the existing roadway and shoulders with Superpave HMA- East of Indiana, PA

Indiana Group SIA

Base repair, concrete pavement rehabilitation, milling and overlay of SR 403 Cramer Pike and SR 22 in the Armagh / East Wheatfield area

Indiana Group SIB

Repair and rehabilitation of various roadways including SR 286 in Clymer Borough, the west end of Philadelphia Street in Indiana Borough and SR 422 in Shelocta Borough

Major renovations to sidewalks and curb-cuts in Clymer along SR 286 and reconstruction and resignalization of the 286 / 403 intersection

Somerset County MC2

Resurfacing of SR 160 beginning in Central City Borough and proceeding north for approximately 2.5 miles.  This project includes minor drainage work, substantial base repairs and shoulder upgrade work along with complete resurfacing with Superpave Asphalt.

Cambria County MC1

Resurfacing and minor drainage work on various routes in Cambria County.  Resurfacing will be performed on state routes in Loretto, Johnstown and Ebensburg areas of the county.
